New Journey

Well tomorrow brings a new journey in my fight against cancer.  I start my maintenance program, which is chemo every 3 weeks.  I'm hoping it will be easier on me as I will no longer be receiving Gemzar, the one that was causing me to get so sick.  I'm going back on Avastin, which caused me to have the severe nose bleeds and staying on Carboplatium,  Bob & I had a wonderful time traveling with my little camper to Maine and back, visiting with family and having a lot of fun. It was so nice not having to go to the Dr.s for a month!!!    However, it's never far from my mind. Since being home I've painted 2 bedrooms and canned more tomatoes, green beans and salsa, decorated the outside of the house for the holiday and been keeping pretty busy.  As one friend said to me. " the old Marcia is back"  Well not really, as I've been in a lot of pain this past week and not sure what the problem is.  Short trip to the hospital ER turned up nothing, I didn't want to be admitted so I left with pain meds and am starting to feel alitlle better, I have an appointment with my family Dr. on thursday.   This week brings the Kids Kicking Cancer trick or treating party on Sunday which I'm planning on going to, even if it's going to be in the 40's!!  so praying that I rebound quickly from tomorrows treatment.  Thanks to all who have kept me in their prayers..if you will, say a prayer for my friend Nancy who was just diagnosed with breast cancer and is struggling.
The LORD will fight for you...you need only be still...Exodus 14:14

                        Peace & Love to All

Good to hear you and Bob had such a nice time traveling, even if the weather was a bit nasty at times for you! Your pictures were beautiful, sunshine or not. I've never been back east and got a real "taste" of it through your trip. My prayers will always continue for you, and I pray your chemo tomorrow will not leave you ill...I will also keep your friend, Nancy in my prayers...hugs cousin, love ya!
