Happy Thanksgiving

So sorry that I haven't posted anything on the blog in awhile.  It seems like I'm always on the go or I'm in bed..doesn't seem to be a happy medium for me lately!  Had an appointment with Dr. Fata yesterday and all is going well.  I'm "severely" anemic and he really wants me to get iron  for several weeks.  I haven't in the past just because it's another trip to the office and 1/2 day spent sitting in the chair.  But with the holidays coming and our trip to Fiji and Mexico, I decided I might just benefit from the extra energy it may give me.  I guess it's also my way of being in control , being able to say "no" to the Dr.!  So in a nutshell, since I last posted, I've attended 2 Kids Kicking Cancer events, painted 2 bedrooms and now working on the family room, ripped up carpeting on the stairs and painted and stenciled them, went to Sugar Creek Ohio with Bob to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary, took a side trip to West Virginia with Bob, went wedding dress shopping with Abby and her bridesmaids, made bittersweet wreaths for Abby's wedding, went to West Virginia with Abby and a girlfriend to  pick out her dishes at the Fiesta Factory, met with friends several times for dinner...and if that's not enough, I'm having Thanksgiving here with 14 family members. So you can see I've been keeping busy!  I know that I should be taking it easy and getting more rest and relaxing, but I hate to sit still.  Days that I spend in bed not feeling well really bother me.. I'm so THANKFUL that I have such a wonderful family and caring friends helping me get thru this.  Peace & Love to All,
