Holiday's

Whew..the holiday's are over..at least for me they are.  We are having friends over tonight for dinner and Bob & I are going to Detroit for a concert on New Years Eve..decorations are starting to come down tomorrow and hope all is put away in a few days...2013 is going to be a great year!!!!! Time to start getting ready for our trip to Fiji and Mexico!   I had a chemo treatment this past week and thought I was doing well up until yesterday, when I couldn't get myself out of bed all day.  Extremely exhausted and just wanting to sleep.  Feeling somewhat better today, not moving quite as fast as I'd like, but at least I'm up and thinking of taking a shower.  Dr. Fata is still ok with me going 2 months without treatment while in Mexico.  He feels I need the sunshine and  having less stress will give me a big boost. I"ve got an appointment with him in a few weeks, so hopefully all will still be ok.  Lately it seems like everyone I talk to knows of someone who is diagnosed with cancer.  I received a phone call this morning from a friend who was diagnosed with breast cancer a few years ago, and now has ovarian cancer.  Another one joins the "club".  So, once again I'm adding Sandy's name to my prayer list and hopefully yours.  Thanks to everyone who sent positive messages to me over the holidays, and continue to keep me and my family in their prayers.
