After beating ovarian cancer once, I've been re-diagnosed. Here I'll share my journey of chemotherapy and surgery including the ups and downs, laughter and tears and everything in between.

Fun Week-end

Friday I had a Dr. appointment with my oncologist.  As usual, Abby and I waited in the room for him for over 2 hours.  Once he did come in, he told me everything looked good, he was going to keep me off the one chemo till we got my nose bleeds under control and that was it!!!  Oh yea, I did have to get a shot to boost my white blood cells.  Abby and I then went shopping for awhile then I went home.   Later that night, Bob and I went out to dinner.  Saturday was cold so there was no yard work to be done.  Instead I cleaned some in the house.  I went to a wedding in the afternoon and later that evening Bob and I went to the reception and had a wonderful time.  Sunday is here and we got up and did alot of running around, Home Depot, Sams Club, Meijers and the best stop of all, Weigands Nursery, where I bought an new hosta to add to the gardens.  Doing some laundry, going to have a wonderful dinner, family coming from out of town on tuesday....looking good till Friday, when I have chemo again.  Countdown has begun..10 more treatments......................  Hoping the weather improves soon...need and want to get outside and start working.     Marcia
