As the Chemo Drips...

After beating ovarian cancer once, I've been re-diagnosed. Here I'll share my journey of chemotherapy and surgery including the ups and downs, laughter and tears and everything in between.

Feeling good

It has been a great week off of chemo..feeling good..tired but good.  Another week off as I have a week-end planned with girlfriends, so it really gives me 2 whole weeks with no treatments!!!!

Also my beautiful daughter Abby got engaged to her college sweetheart, Dan Carito.  Bob and I are thrilled that she has found someone as wonderful as Dan. They are planning on getting married next year, so I have plenty of time to help plan the wedding and get thru all this cancer crap!

I have a Dr. appointment tomorrow with my oncologist.  Last time I waited over 2 hours for him, I informed the nurse today that I wouldn't do that again, if he isn't in the room within an hour I'm leaving.  So we will have to see what happens as I think an hour is too long to wait!

Good to hear you've been feeling well! And congratulations to you Mama and Dad and that beautiful daughter of yours! I hope you all have fun planning the wedding!

As far as having to wait I don't blame you...I have walked out of many Doctor's appointments for the same reason. My time is valuable too and so is yours! I don't blame you one bit if you walk out! Keep feeling great...you remain in my prayers as always.
